Meet Rodney Long Jr.
My goal is to help fathers, husbands, and young men be the men they’re called to be.

Rodney Long Jr., MSSA, LISW-S
Licensed Independent Social Worker – Supervisor
I’ve spent more than ten years doing clinical work — the kind where you sit with people through the hard stuff and help them actually move. Along the way I served as a clinical director, which meant not just seeing my own clients but building and training the teams who saw everyone else’s.
That background shows up in how I work: I’m comfortable being direct, I don’t hide behind jargon, and I’ve seen enough to know that most people aren’t broken — they’re stuck in patterns that made sense once and don’t serve them now.
My orientation is solutions focused. In practice, that means we get clear on what’s going on, figure out what you want to be different, and work toward it one step at a time. We don’t spend months talking about the problem. We focus on what moves you forward.
Beyond one-on-one counseling, I’ve facilitated psychoeducational groups and done organizational consulting, which keeps me grounded in how people actually function — in families, at work, and in the systems around them.
